Each chore, each word of Rua dos Amores transmits an overwhelming and exciting strength of a style. No wonder: a notorious stylist of the Brazilian music, he is the author of all the lyrics and melodies of the 13 new songs. Composed all the arrangements and is the producer of the album. And all of them came with the strength that was build up during the four years that he deliberately spent with out composing while he was dedicating his time to “Aria”, his previous album that was formed entirely by composition of other authors.

For a composer as compulsive and fruitful as Djavan the fast was enduring and the creative energy build up explains the strength of this new harvest. This strength was reinforced by the reunion of his former band, all more mature and in tune with Djavans ideas and guitar.
