Malásia Album Gets First-Ever Analog Release

For the first time ever, Malásia, Djavan’s 1996 album, is now available as a double vinyl release.

Launched and distributed by Rocinante Três Selos, this exclusive and limited edition LP features 12 tracks and a stunning design: the record is pressed on vibrant red vinyl, weighing 180 grams.

Breaking from his usual tradition of recording mostly his own compositions, Djavan included three songs by other artists in Malásia: the samba “Coração Leviano” by Paulinho da Viola; “Sorri”, Braguinha’s Brazilian adaptation of Chaplin’s classic “Smile”; and “Correnteza”, a rural ballad by Tom Jobim and Luiz Bonfá, originally recorded for the hit telenovela O Rei do Gado by Benedito Ruy Barbosa.

With this vinyl release, this milestone of Brazilian music gets a special edition for fans, collectors, and DJs. A high-quality production, allowing you to relive the magic of Djavan in a unique analog format!
